Traigh

Our Park Manager at Loch Eck Caravan Park - Gwen Ineson - has been with Argyll Holidays for many years, with our guests and holiday home owners fondly remembering her  - and husband Paul's - sheep dog Traigh.

Her debut publication about Traigh has now been released - read on to see what Gwen has to say about it.

When we got a new sheep dog, we had no idea what an impact it would have on our lives. Sheep dogs have always been a part of my life and lifestyle; they have all been a pleasure to own, but this one, well, this one was different. Don’t get me wrong; I’m not a soppy person, but to say I was proud of him would be an understatement.

We were managing St Catherine's and also worked at Drimsynie Estate. We left to go to England, but after just two years missed Argyll that much that it was time to come back.

I know quite a lot of folk will remember Traigh, without doubt the best dog and friend we have ever had.

Gwen.
